How she works

Four moves, and the money stays yours.

“You don’t need a budget, darling. You need someone to take the card out of your hand.”

  1. 01
    You hand it over.

See something you want — a jacket, a gadget, the 2 a.m. cart? Send it to Miss Spent from any store or app through the share sheet, and she looks it over herself: the title, the picture, the price. Standing in front of it in a shop? Photograph it. Either way, it’s in her hands, not yours.

  2. 02
    She puts it on ice.

No verdict yet. She sets it down for a few days and lets the heat come off it. Want has a short shelf life — most of what you almost buy, you only wanted right now.

  3. 03
    She rules.

When the wait’s up she pings you for the reckoning: need, or noise? You tell her you didn’t buy it — or, if you did, you tell her that too. She keeps an honest ledger either way.

  4. 04
    You keep the money.

Every “no” goes to your Stash — a running tally of the money you didn’t spend, climbing toward the one thing you’re actually saving for.

Where she works

She meets you where the spending happens.

From any store

The share sheet is the front door. Hand her the page from Safari or any shopping app and she reads it herself — title, picture, price — asking only for what the store wouldn’t show. Most captures never touch the keyboard.

In the shop

Temptation in person? Take its picture. She lifts the thing clean off the photo — the one splash of color in her black-and-white office — and it goes on ice like everything else.

When it’s time to rule

She pings you at the reckoning — not to nag, to close the loop. One tap: didn’t buy, or bought it.

Not a tracker

A tracker counts what you spent. She rules before you spend.

Spreadsheets and spend-trackers show up after the damage, with a number and a frown. Miss Spent steps in at the moment of temptation — the only moment that changes the outcome — and gives you a few days and a firm voice. The receipt you never got is the one she's proudest of.
