Miss Spent

Terms of Service

Effective 10 July 2026

The short version: Miss Spent is an iOS app, sold on the Apple App Store as a one-time unlock — never a subscription. She rules on spending; she is not a financial adviser.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By using the Miss Spent iOS app (the “App”) or the misspent.app website (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use them. These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Neon Tiger Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), a California limited liability company. Your use of the App is also governed by Apple’s App Store terms.

2. What Miss Spent is

Miss Spent is an anti-impulse-spending iOS app, fronted by a fictional character — the “Accountability Dame.” You hand her a temptation, she makes you sit on it, and the app keeps a running tally of the money you didn’t spend. The Site lets you learn about the App and find it on the App Store.

3. What Miss Spent is not

Miss Spent is a money app with an attitude, not a financial adviser.

She rules on whether to spend; she never tells you what to buy, sell, or invest in. Nothing in the App or on the Site is financial, investment, or tax advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to make or avoid any particular purchase or investment. Your spending decisions are your own.

4. Eligibility and platform

The App runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later and carries a 4+ App Store age rating. The Site is a general-audience informational page and is free to browse. You must be able to form a binding contract to accept these Terms.

5. The App, its price, and purchases

Miss Spent is sold through the Apple App Store as a one-time unlock, never a subscription. The unlock price is US$19.99; prices may vary by region and may change over time. The core experience is free; the one-time unlock adds cosmetic options and record export (details on our pricing page). Purchases, and any restore of a prior purchase, are processed and governed by Apple; we do not process those payments and cannot issue refunds for them — Apple handles app refunds under its own policy.

6. No purchases on this site

The Site sells nothing and takes no payments. You cannot buy the App on the Site, and nothing on the Site charges you. You get Miss Spent from the Apple App Store.

7. Licence

The App is licensed, not sold, to you. Unless you have a separate signed agreement with us, your licence to use the App is Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), as supplemented by these Terms. If the Standard EULA and these Terms conflict as to the App licence itself, the Standard EULA governs the licence and these Terms govern everything else.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

9. Intellectual property

Miss Spent — including the character, name, copy, design, voice, and visual identity, the App, and the Site — is owned by Neon Tiger Labs LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App and the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms, the Standard EULA, and Apple’s App Store terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP AND THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App or the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NEON TIGER LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP OR THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100), OR THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Neon Tiger Labs LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or the Site or your violation of these Terms.

13. Apple

Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim that the App fails to conform to a warranty is between you and us; to the extent required by Apple’s rules, Apple’s only obligation for a valid warranty claim is to refund the App’s purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty or support obligation for the App.

14. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause or notice. Your licence to the App is governed by the Standard EULA and Apple’s terms. Sections 3, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15 survive termination.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and noted on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance; if you disagree, your remedy is to stop using the App and the Site.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and, for the App, Apple’s Standard EULA and App Store terms, are the entire agreement between you and Neon Tiger Labs LLC regarding the App and the Site.
